I've spent over two decades building data and digital systems, mostly the unglamorous kind that has to keep working. If you're here from something I built, that's who's behind it.
How I work
- I'll tell you honestly when something won't work, even if that isn't what you want to hear.
- I collect the least data a thing needs to function, and no more.
- I build things to last, and I won't sell you complexity you don't need.
Work
Most of what I've built sits inside other people's organisations and doesn't carry my name: national-scale public services, platforms handling billions of records, teams built and handed on.
